This past week, Pumpkin had her first day of preschool. She was so excited!! Drummer Boy brought a backpack home for her on Monday night and she has carried it with her everywhere she goes ever since. Her first day of preschool was Tuesday. She was ready to go long before it was time. As we pulled up to the carpool drop-off line, she was smiling so big. She gave me a kiss, got out of the car, took the teacher's hand, and off she went. No tears, no fears. Just pure excitement!
Her teacher is Ms. Julie. That is very special for me because Julie was my Young Life leader when I was in high school. She was a big part of my life during my high school years, and now she gets to be a part of Pumpkin's life. Julie is so sweet and gentle and loving, and she's a great teacher. I know Pumpkin is going to love her. I have been so excited for Julie to get to know and love Pumpkin too! How could she not love that sweet little girl?
