Look Who's 3!

Pumpkin turned three on Friday! I can't believe it has already been three years since this little blessing was placed in my arms for the first time! Three years ago my heart expanded and melted and I fell in love for the third time in my life. For the last three years, she has brought so much joy and laughter, love and personality into our home. We are so blessed to have her in our family!

We had her party at a neighborhood park. The kids played on the playground for a while. Then we ate lunch and decorated cupcakes. We finished up the party by filling up waterguns and letting the kids go to town on each other. Princess and Pumpkin had a great time! And so did I. Happy Birthday Pumpkin!

School's Out For Summer!!!

Last year, our neighborhood block started a tradition of an end-of-the-school-year water party for all the kids. We rented a big blow-up water slide and some of the neighbors brought out their smaller water slides and baby pools. Add water balloons, popscicles, and watermelon, and you've got a perfect summer celebration. It was such a hit! We repeated it this year, and I'm sure we'll continue the tradition for many years to come!

Best Friends

Pumpkin's best friend invited her to a day at the zoo, just before the older sisters were out of school for the summer. My friend Tami and I enjoyed spending some special time with the little ones before things got a little crazier for the summer.

"Baylor" is only 4 weeks old! He was such a cutie!!!

A Week at the Beach

Growing up in Houston, "the beach" meant Galveston, TX to me. The water was murky and the sand brown and there was a lot of clumpy seaweed, but it was all I knew and I loved it. But, now I know better. I've been away from Texas long enough now that "the beach" means the sugar-white sand and clear blue water of Florida. We spent last week at Seagrove Beach. It was our third trip in the last 5 years to that area and we loved it! My mom and sister joined us for the week, and they had a great time too. Here are our favorite pictures from the week.
