Several months ago, I challenged a friend to a list of activities that we would both do during this year of being 31. Recently she reminded me that blogging was one of the activities on that list and since I am now almost 31 1/2 I guess it is time to start. I am not sure where this blogging journey will take me, or if I will find the time and energy to keep it up, but I'll never know unless I begin, so here goes...

I have had trouble starting this blog because I have felt like I needed to have a theme for the things I would write about. But, when I think about what purpose I would like to serve in this practice of daily or weekly blogging, I came up with two. First, I would like it to serve as a journal of my life and my family's life together. I used to journal frequently about things I did, people I visited with, or thoughts and feelings that I had. But, now most of my journalling is actually notes from my bible and prayers. So, this will be my online journal. The second purpose is for my friends to keep in touch. I know after reading the blogs of my friends, I feel like I've had a little glimpse into their day, and I hope they feel the same way after reading my blog. So, I guess the theme of this blog will just be day-to-day life and my response to it. I love the quote, "Live well, laugh often, love much", and so I have named my blog "Love, Laugh, Live Every Day".
